We install t-post and barb wire fencing, this is the most cost effective fencing especially when enclosing a large area. We also do t-post with no climb horse fence. We will put galvanized posts in the corners and ends to help ensure the longevity of the fence. Click HERE for photos of t-post/no climb/barb wire fences we have done. A simple wood split rail fence is also a cost-effective option.

Prices vary considerably with terrain, difficulty of install, types of fencing, number of gates, etc. We offer free estimates, please contact the office to schedule an estimate. Our estimator will come out and walk your property with you, completing measurements and taking into account your specific situation before providing a proposal.
Prior to digging the first hole, one of our team members will meet with you to go over exactly where your fence will be placed, including gates or any other changes made after the contract is signed. Once we dig the holes and set the poles, we give the concrete time to set and will not be working on your project for a day or two. After the concrete is set, we return and finish your project. Gates will be the very last portion of the project. How long it takes is dependent on the size and complexity of your project. Most residential projects are completed within a week.
Elk are beautiful creatures but can be a huge problem in this area, especially if you have a garden or other foliage they love to consume. Elk rarely attempt to jump a six foot fence, and in general do not jump a fence they can not see over. A six foot privacy fence is the most effective at keeping elk out of your yard.
Payson Fence & Barns, Inc has a R-14 Arizona Fence License (ROC339709). This allows us to purchase high quality materials directly from our supplier for less than you can purchase lower quality materials from large box stores. For example, we use Schedule 40ga galvanized steel posts for our terminal posts, the local box store only sells 16ga posts. We use these for line posts, but not corners or gates because they are not strong enough to last. We also have the proper equipment and experience to provide high-quality installation done correctly and securely. Very few lots in this area are flat, it takes more expertise to ensure the inclines and declines of the fence are correct.
We do not currently offer financing.
Our residential post holes are set 24” deep in concrete. In certain situations, we may feel the posts need to be deeper to ensure the durability of the fence.
We currently accept cash or check. We are working on accepting electronic payments in the future.
After signing the proposal, you will make a 50% down payment. We use that payment to purchase the materials for your project and it is non-refundable.
Absolutely! After meeting with the customer and taking measurements our estimators will complete a proposal that will be emailed to you. Proposals are generally emailed to the customer within 1-5 working days, depending on the type of project.
Absolutely! Our estimator will work with you to determine what you are trying to accomplish and give you some advice to help you decide. We are here to help.
